Senthil
Chengalvarayan, 43 years, is the Managing Editor. He leads
the team of professional journalists that has made CNBC TV18
the most successful business media network in the country.
He has been a business journalist for over two decades. After
spending his initial years in the profession with various
Business Dailies he joined Television Eighteen in 1994 just
as the company was pioneering the entry of private companies
into Television News. He's seen the industry grow then from
uncertain beginnings to the phenomenon that it is today.
A Graduate in Economics from Madras University, he has done
his Masters in journalism from the Times Research Foundation

Udayan
Mukherjee, 34 years, is the Executive Editor. His first assignment
was with United Television where he worked for four years
before joining CNBC Asia as Special Markets Correspondent
when they commenced operations in India. He subsequently moved
to TV18 and apart from working on the daily business news
bulletin, he anchors live market shows like Bazaar Morning
Call and other daily and weekly shows like Corporate Radar
and Taking Stock.
He is an economist, having obtained his B. Sc. in Economics
from Presidency College, Calcutta and M.A. in Economics from
Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Anuradha
Sengupta is the editor-anchor of CNBC TV18's flagship feature
show "Storyboard" which is solely devised by her.
She has also anchored & edited special series like 'The
Business of Cricket' and annual series like 'That's Entertainment'.
She hosts the hugely popular show called "Being".She
has covered live, industry events like FICCI-FRAMES and Ad
Asia. She has directed the award winning 'Amul India Show'
on Star Plus for almost 3 years. She has honed her television
skills on a variety of TV shows from the short lived Nikki
Tonight - a chat show on Star Plus.

Bhan, 29 years, is the Delhi Bureau Chief and the Associate
Editor(Political Affairs). She has been with the company for
more than 5 years now. She anchors and produces several flagship
shows like Young Turks, India Business Hour, The Nations Business
and Power Turks. From Bill Gates to Richard Branson, from
Benazir Bhutto to Deepak Chopra, she has done some of the
biggest interviews on CNBC-TV18. She also anchors and puts
together CNBC TV18's ground events like Managing India brainstorm
and the CNBC Industry Vectors.
She is a Graduate from St.Stephens College & a Masters
in Communication Studies from University of Pune.

Doshi, 30 years, is the Mumbai Bureau Chief & Associate
Corporate Editor. She has been working with TV18 for 10 years
and with CNBC TV18 since it's inception. Her programming and
reporting experience includes working as a reporter on India
Business Report (BBC), anchoring and co-producing Young Turks
(CNBC TV18) as well as a host of special features. She anchors
India Business Hour.

Vivek
Law, 33 years, is the Editor - Consumer Affairs. He heads
the Consumer Desk that broadly covers consumer grievances,
economic crime, personal finance, property and education.
He has been involved with shows like Uncovered, Kaun Rahega
Crorepati, Your Money and currently drives Business Centre
and High Rise on CNBC TV18. Vivek also does shows called Pardafash,
Pehredar and Aapka Paisa on Awaaz. He has also been involved
with Emerging India initiative of CNBC TV18 and has conducted
Insurance camps across India for the channel. Prior to joining
CNBC TV18, he worked with India Today, Economic Times, Business
Standard, The Financial Express, and The Statesman over a
career spanning 13 years.
He did his Graduation in journalism from Delhi University.

Chaudhuri, 34 years, is a Senior Producer & Anchor for
both CNBC & Awaaz. - Her career in television started
in 1994 in "infotainment". She joined TV 18 as a
correspondent on The India Show. She worked as producer on
various TV 18 productions - from a college based show to a
career based one. She has researched and written scripts for
the legal docu dramas - Bhanwar (Sony Entertainment Television)
and Haadsa (SAB TV). Fluent in both Hindi and English, she
is a regular face on the Hindi and English markets band. She
hosts shows like Midcap Radar and Bazaar on CNBC.
She Graduated from Lady Shri Ram College in English Literature.
She studied Social Communications(Media) at the BK Somani
Polytechnic, Sophia College in Mumbai.

Fernandes, 44 years, is the Economic Policy Editor. He has
been with the company since 1994. He is a keen observer of
business & politics since the economic liberalization
began. He has covered the ministries, the corporate sector,
parliament & political parties. He has covered WTO talks
at Cancun, the Prime Minister of India's visit to Pakistan
& trade talks in Hong Kong. Before joining TV18, he worked
with India Today, Hindustan Times & the Observer of Business
and Politics.
He is a Graduate with diploma in journalism from Indian Institute
of Mass Communication.

Ravi, 49 years, is the Editor - Special Projects. He brings
with him more than two decades of journalistic experience
in both magazines and newspapers. His previous assignments
include stints as Executive Editor, Business India, Resident
Editor, The Financial Express, Editor, Pacfusion.com, a Singapore-based
portal. His last assignment, as Founder-Editor, was with USP
Age, a monthly magazine for marketing communication professional.
In the last 25 years, he has worked with India Today, Business
Standard & Magna Group. He has done extensive investigative
reporting and path breaking stories.
He has majored in Commerce from Mumbai University and has
a Diploma in Radio Speaking from St Xavier's Institute of
Communications.

Suresh
Venkat, 36 years, is the Executive Producer incharge of Special
Projects. Shows under his supervision include The Tech Show,
News on The Loose, Get A Life, The Art of Investment and The
Job Show. Prior to joining CNBC TV18, he was Programming Director
for Radio City 91 FM, Bangalore, India's first private FM
Radio Station. During his stint with Radio City 91 FM, he
has worked on programming and delivery strategy for what is
now one of India's leading FM stations. He was also a popular
Radio Anchor during this time. He has previously worked with
music television channel, Channel [v], Titan Watches and The
Bombay Store.
He is trained in Product Design at the National Insititute
of Design, Ahmedabad.

Shankar,
33 years, is the Channel Producer. He's held the post since
January 2001. He walked into TV18 in 1994 hoping to be trainee.
He was hired for The Money Game - a financial game show. When
the show was retired he was in the director's seat. He's earned
his promotions and grey hair by being a researcher, an editor,
producer, director and assignment head. TV18's vast program
portfolio has made him versatile too. He's worked music countdowns,
quiz shows, feature programs, live news, studio setups, on-location
events.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Delhi University.

Manisha Gupta Commodities Editor |

Manisha
Gupta, is the Commodities Editor. She also contributes to
Awaaz. Prior to joining CNBC TV18, she was heading Commodities
research for Sunidhi consultancy, from Dec 03-Mar 05. The
co. has branches in 48 cities. She was handling Risk Management
and investment strategies into commodities. She has also given
presentations to Banks, FII's on Commodity derivatives in
India. This was the time when the national commodity exchanges
started and she was in the advisory committee to MCX. Previously,
she was heading Commodity Research division at Kuber Advisory
from 2000 to 2003, where giving real-time information, analysis
and hedging were prime focus. Prior to that she was working
with Vadilal Forex, from 1998 to 2000, advising clients on
their Forex and commodity exposures.
She is an MBA from Baroda, She also has done her Post Graduation in EXIM.
