Rajdeep Sardesai, 40 years, is the Editor-in-chief. He comes with 17 years of journalistic experience during which he has covered the biggest political stories in India and hosted the popular Television debate show 'The Big Fight'. Prior to setting up his own channels, he was the Managing Editor of both NDTV 24X7 and NDTV India and was responsible for overseeing the news policy for both the channels. He has also worked with The Times of India for over 5 years. He has won numerous awards for excellence, including an Asian Television Award in 1998. He has also been the recipient of 'News Anchor of the Year' award for the last 3 consecutive years.
He has done his Masters and LLB from Oxford University.

Ritu Kapur, 39 years, is the Features Editor. She is incharge of news gathering on entertainment as well as all the feature programming on lifestyle, health, entertainment and technology. She joined Television Eighteen in 1993. Her first foray into satellite television was as the Associate Director on the Amul India Show on Star plus. The entertainment and lifestyle magazine show was India's first indigenously produced show on satellite television. She then moved gear to drama with a legal soap on Zee TV called Vakaalat. She was the screenplay writer and director on India's first legal docu drama series - Bhanwar - for Sony Entertainment Television. She also wrote and directed for another docu series - Haadsa - on Sab TV and also dabbled in the horror genre.
She did her Graduation in English (Hons) from St. Stephen's college, Delhi University and then did her Master in mass communication from Jamia Milia University.

Rajan Garabadu, 32 years, is the Executive Producer. He is responsible for all programming, PCR Operations and On-Air look of CNN-IBN. Before he joined GBN, he was Channel Head (Production) for NDTV India (NDTV's Hindi Channel). He also successfully produced and directed The Big Fight, one of NDTV's flagship shows. The show went on to win 4 national and international awards (including the prestigious Asian TV Award for two successive) in the two years that he handled the show. He worked with NDTV for more than nine years before joining GBN.
He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication in 1995.

Radhakrishnan Nair, 41 years, is the News Editor. With over 18 years of experience in Television and Print media, he began his career with the news agency UNI in 1989. Before joining GBN, he spent over 12 years with the TV18 group producing various business shows and leading the Input-Output desk CNBC. He has also had a short stint with ABNI - a dedicated business channel for Asia and has produced India's first docu-drama based on real-life court cases for Sony TV.
He is a Post Graduate in Mass Communication from Kerala University.

Vinay Tewari, 35 years, is the Senior Editor - Planning & Programming. He is the head of assignment that controls all news gathering operations and special news events. He is also the editorial interface with marketing, besides handling synergies between CNN-IBN and the other network channels. With over 14 years of experience in print and electronic media, he started his career as a reporter with The Pioneer. In 2001 he joined the TV Today Network as Metro Editor and moved on to becoming Senior Producer. There he was responsible for conceiving, planning and implementing coverage for all major and special events, including elections. He has also worked with the Times of India and was instrumental in the launch of the Delhi Times.
He is a Post Graduate in journalism from the Times Center for Media Studies and a Psychology graduate from Lucknow University.

Dipika R Kaura, 42 years, is a Senior Editor. She heads the output team for CNN-IBN. Dipika has been with TV18 for nearly 12 years. She started as a reporter for India Business Report on BBC - the longest running business programme on any channel. She was part of the core team involved in launching CNBC, as well as TV18's overseas channel, South Asia World.
She has a Post Graduate degree in Business Economics from Delhi University, after graduating with an Economics degree.

Rohit Khanna, 37 years, is the Executive Producer in the Special Investigations Team. He has over 15 years of feature and fiction programming and has several 'firsts' to his credit. In 1995, he wrote, produced and directed 'Public Demand' - India's first film-based TV show. In 1996, he directed 'The Road Show' - India's first ever automobile show for TV. He has directed several acclaimed fiction programmes on TV including 'Bhanwar' in 1998 and 'Dhadkan' in 2002. His best known work is the superhit 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin' which won him best director laurels at the Apsara Awards, the Hero Honda awards and the Indian Telly awards in 2003-2004.
He is a Graduate in History Honors and has a Masters in Mass Communication from Jamia Milia University.

V.K. Shashikumar, 34 years, is the Chief of the Special Investigation Team. His achievement includes a Gold Medal for Investigative Journalism for Operation Whitewash Series (2002) that exposed the omissions and commissions of the armed forces during the Kargil War. In 2004, he led a three-member team of journalists to rip apart the tourism related pedophilia in Goa.
